
Creamy Garlic Penne
Ingredients
- 200 g Primo penne cooked al dente (soft but not overcooked)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 3 large garlic cloves minced
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 1 tbsp flour
- 3 tbsp parmesan finely grated, plus extra for serving
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pan along with a bit of oil.
- Add the garlic fry for a minute or two until the garlic is fragrant
- Add the flour ,mix, then add a cup of boiling water or pasta water.
- Pour in the cream and cheese and whisk until the cheese melts
- Season with pepper and the thyme.
- Taste for salt and add if necessary.
- Add the cooked pasta. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce is thick
- Serve with the extra grated parmesan
